Unmetered, Expert Support Included for LinuxLink Subscribers
Software projects are risky. In addition to the high probability of budget and schedule overruns, problems multiply when working with open source platforms which come without sufficient documentation or reliable support.
Let our experienced and knowledgeable Linux experts help you make the most of Timesys LinuxLink. Become a LinuxLink Desktop Edition subscriber to get access to unmetered, live support from a team of embedded Linux experts. As a subscriber, you also get access to Timesys’ Desktop Factory Edition, allowing you to easily build Linux distributions and applications on your desktop/host.
With more than 15 years in the Linux space, we are at the cutting edge of embedded Linux product development. Depend on Timesys support services to address problems or questions when the issue pertains to environments, tools and components residing in LinuxLink as defined below:
- All source or binary components (tools, kernel, libraries, and packages) must be downloaded from the Timesys LinuxLink Classic Repository or Factory Platform Builder.
- The problems are build, configuration, or Host setup related.
- The custom build is compatible with a reference board in the Timesys board farm to enable testing.
- Tools and tool-chains used must be either used as-is, in binary from the LinuxLink Classic Repository or built using the Timesys Factory from source code residing on Timesys servers.
- Drivers included in kernel configurations must be a subset of those included in the LinuxLink Classic Standard reference distributions or identified as tested in LinxLink3.0 by Timesys.
- Rebuilding from source requires a supported host.
- Source-code debugging is limited to source code authored or certified by Timesys.
