Leverages 100% increased SAM9 platform performance at half the power consumption of its predecessor

Pittsburgh, PA – May 27, 2008 - Timesys Corporation, a premier provider of embedded Linux software solutions, today announced LinuxLink support for the Atmel® AT91SAM9G20 Embedded Microprocessor. LinuxLink for the SAM9G20 leverages the increased processor performance and reduced power consumption offered by the new Atmel SAM9 platform.

With this LinuxLink, subscribers will get web-based access to a Linux platform that has been pre-complied, integrated and tested for the AT91SAM9G20 Evaluation Kit, including a 2.6.25 Linux kernel, toolchain and hundreds of glibC and uClibc packages. Additionally, subscribers will have access to TimeStorm development tools, web-based support and a vast suite of documentation to customize and test their embedded Linux platform for a given application.
