During this workshop Arrow and DH Electronics will present the hardware solutions we have developed around the STM32MP1 to accelerate your time to market. Timesys will guide you through a hands-on workshop on the Avenger96 board to learn about how to assemble and deploy a BSP on the board, OpenSTLinux, checking for security vulnerabilities, and heterogeneous programming. The hands-on portion will feature several dedicated exercises.
An Avenger96 board will be sent to every workshop participant after the event.

Pre-requisites for Attendees of this Workshop:
Please bring your own laptop.
- Linux or Windows OS — must be 64bit
- Memory — as much as possible
- 200GB of available storage space —if you’d like to keep dev environment after the session
- Installed VirtualBox software
- Basic Linux knowledge and familiarity with an UBUNTU based host OS
- Some experience developing embedded systems
- Familiarity with C/C++ development
Attendees will use an Ubuntu based host OS environment as provided by the instructor. Please download and run a 64bit Ubuntu Linux image to ensure that Virtual Box is installed correctly. Slides and all exercises with solutions will be provided.
